When I first got into the Ace Attorney series, my favorite character was Miles Edgeworth. Pretty predictable, knowing me; I usually go for the antihero. But that all changed when I played Trials & Tribulations. Godot captivated me from the first time he grinned: just who was that guy in the mask? By the time I finished the game, I knew he was my favorite character. (Edgeworth who?)
Out of all of Godot's character traits and coffee quirks, though, my favorite thing about him was his relationship with Mia. Even with all the craziness of Ace Attorney, theirs was a relationship that spoke of actual love. I ship Phoenix/Edgeworth as much as the next slash fan, but it's nice to have a pairing that's more than suggestive subtext. Diego/Mia was that. I grew to like Mia more and more and now like her as much as Diego.
I always had the idea of a shrine in the back of my head, and getting approved for the fanlisting helped, but it wasn't until I replayed Trials & Tribulations for the third time that I decided to go ahead and do it. The site was finished on 7 July 2009 for Tanabata, mostly because I'm a dork that way.
